Sakura Taisen 1 & 2

Overview

Sakura Taisen 1 & 2 is a collection containing ports of the first two installments of the Sakura Taisen series for the PlayStation Portable. The port features higher resolution artwork along with a new widescreen aspect ratio that removes the pattern border from previous versions of the games. Sega released the collection on March 10, 2006 in Japan and an unknown publisher did attempt to localize the title for the western market. Ultimately, however, the title was rejected by Sony Computer Entertainment America at the time due to them not considering Sakura Taisen to be a real video game but a "text novel" [1].
