NASCAR Heat 2002

NASCAR licensed racing with challenges like Beat the Heat and Pro Mode, in addition to the usual Championship season.

Critical Reception

Game Informer gave the review scores of 8.5 and 8.  Andy McNamara, who gave the higher score, wrote, "...it has a number of challenges and situations -- such as trying to win Daytona with two laps left and no fuel. [game mode] Race the Pro, on the other hand challenges you to beat 11 world-famous drivers at their three best tracks... Overall I thoroughly enjoyed playing NASCAR Heat, as the control is immaculate.  I was astounded by the realism that its smooth handling brought to the game".
