CyberMage was a mid-nineties first person shooter which allowed the player to combine 'mage' powers with a combination of melee and ranged weaponry.
The premise of the game was that the player awakens after a selfless act, to find themselves in a new costume (see box cover), and with a gem ('Darklight') implanted in their head. The gem is what grants the player their 'mage' powers, as they explore the game's dark setting.
