Towers II: Plight of the Stargazer

Overview

Towers II: Plight of the Stargazer is a first-person real-time dungeon crawler RPG with panoramic movement. The player assumes one of four heroes in the land of Lamini, who has travelled to Duggan's Castle to seek their fortunes. The game's mechanics are loosely based on the Dungeons & Dragons model.

The game was the sole RPG to be released on the Atari Jaguar, close to the end of its lifespan. It was also one of a handful of games released on the short-lived Atari Falcon that was incompatible with earlier, weaker Atari ST models. It also received a PC release, and a GBA version was in production but cancelled at some point.
