True Golf Classics: Pebble Beach Golf Links

The fifth in T&E Soft's '90s golf simulation games, taking place at the golf course of the same name (located in the western coast of the United States).

Overview

True Golf Classics: Pebble Beach Golf Links (known in Japan as New 3D Golf Simulation: Pebble Beach no Hotou) is a behind-the-back golf simulation game developed and published by T&E Soft for the PC-98 (exclusively in Japan) and the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (in both North America and Japan) on April 1992.

The fifth game in the True Golf Classics / New 3D Golf Simulation series, Pebble Beach Golf Links takes place at the golf course of the same name (located in the western coastal U.S. state of California). It is the final game of the original PC-98 series to take place on a recreation of a real-life course (with its final game taking place on a fantasy course).

It was later ported to the Sega Genesis in 1993, and is the only Genesis port in the series to receive a release outside of Japan. The game also received a remake for both the 3DO and Sega Saturn.
