Homefront: The Revolution is the sequel to Homefront. Set after itself, a resistance fights North Korean invasion in Philadelphia.

Development

Homefront: The Revolution, announced as Homefront 2, began development at Kaos Studios; however, after closing, Crytek UK began development. Once THQ filed for bankruptcy, liquidating its intellectual properties, Crytek purchased Homefront; and Deep Silver became publisher. After Crytek's financial struggles, Homefront was sold to Deep Silver and Deep Silver Dambuster Studios began development.
