Build your own zoo!

Zoo Tycoon is a zoo management simulation game developed by Frontier Developments and published by Microsoft for the Xbox One (as a launch title) and Xbox 360 on November 22, 2013. It is a same-name reboot of Microsoft's Zoo Tycoon franchise (and the first for Frontier Developments).

Players are tasked with the development and maintenance of a functioning zoo while maintaining profits and keeping both the animals and the guests happy. Along with the standard Tutorial, Challenge, and Freeform modes, the game includes a new lengthy Campaign mode.

The Xbox One version includes a variety of exclusive features, including a greater variety of animals, online co-operative multiplayer (where up to four players can collaborate on one zoo and participate in team challenges), and Kinect support (for both voice commands and motion control for certain animal interactions).

Gameplay

Zoo Tycoon is a management simulation where the player is tasked with the development and maintenance of a Zoo. Along with a 15-hour campaign mode, the game also includes a free-form mode, where the player has an infinite supply of money, and various challenge modes.

Along with the standard overhead view, players can also enter a third-person view of their player character and roam around (either on foot or through buggies) while interacting with the animals (such as washing and feeding them).
