FAST Racing Neo

A sequel to futuristic WiiWare racer FAST Racing League.

Overview

FAST Racing Neo is a futuristic racer exclusive to Wii U. It is the sequel to Fast Racing League for WiiWare, and continues that game's focus on high-speed futuristic racing loosely inspired by Nintendo's own F-Zero franchise. The game also takes some inspiration from WipeOut as well, such as naming the vehicles after fictional corporate manufacturers. A physical version was released in September 2016 as one of two inaugural Nintendo eShop Selects titles published by Nintendo of Europe in PAL regions and Rising Star Games in North America.

The game's progression is locked to the player's racing success. For instance, new Grand Prix cups are unlocked by completing the previous tier. Similarly, new difficulties become available after the player beats the hardest Grand Prix cup - the Neon Cup - on the highest available setting. After completing cups at various difficulties, the player also unlocks new vehicles.

The NEO Future Pack
