Pachinko Kuunyan

The first and only pachinko game released on the Sega Mega Drive. Ren looks for her father in the Chinatown district of Yokohama, where pachinko experts have been disappearing one after the other.

Pachinko Kuunyan is a pachinko simulator for the Sega Mega Drive, and the only game of its type for the system. It features a framing story wherein the father of the heroine Ren disappears while playing pachinko in Yokohama's Chinatown district, which has recently become a haven for pachinko players. Now an adult, Ren attempts to track down what happened to her father by rising up the ranks of the best pachinko winners.

The game has multiple pachinko machines and includes a feature where the player can carefully examine each table for bent pins and other telltale signs of where to aim for the best payouts. Ren explores the world in a top-down view reminiscent of RPGs and adventure games of the era, and can visit multiple parlors with different arrangements of machines.
