Tetsudou Nippon! Real Pro: Tokkyuu Soukou! Nagoya Tetsudou-hen

The 11th in the Tetsudou Nippon series of handheld train driving simulators follows three higher-speed limited-express train routes through the Nagoya Main Line and its connecting Tokoname Line in central Japan.

Overview

Tetsudou Nippon! Real Pro: Tokkyuu Soukou! Nagoya Tetsudou-hen, which loosely translates to "Railway Japan! Real Pro: Limited Express Run, Nagoya Railroad Edition", is an train driving simulation game developed and published by Sonic Powered for the Nintendo Switch exclusively in Japan on December 15, 2022.

The 11h installment in the Tetsudou Nippon! series, as well as the sequel to Tetsudou Nippon! Rosen Tabi: Akechi Tetsudou-hen and the first to use the "Real Pro" name, Nagoya Tetsudou-hen moves away from local train services of previous games and into higher-speed limited express services. As the name implies, it follows a route operated by Nagoya Railroad (or Meitetsu) in both Aichi and Gifu Prefectures of central Japan.

The game follows along the Meitetsu Nagoya Main Line from Meitetsu Gifu Station to Jingū-mae Station, followed by the Meitetsu Tokoname Line (and the Meitetsu Airport Line extension) to the Central Japan International Airport Station. There are three electric train services, each following a section of the route: the Express service (running the Nagoya Main Line on a 3500-series train), the Limited Express service (running the Tokoname and Airport Lines on a 2200-series train), and the μSKY Limited Express service (running the entire route on a 2000-series train). It also includes a digitization of the Meitetsu Museum, which closed down on December 25, 2020.

The game was later released for PC (via Steam) on April 27, 2023 and for the PlayStation 4 on May 22, 2023.
