Grey is a total conversion Half-Life 2 horror modification where the player must solve puzzles, fight to survive, and find out what is happening to the world around you. We have made a lot changes to the base Source engine and have added countless new mechanics in the mod such as the objective indicator, portable medkit, donator based extras, pickup animations, failed reloads, new picture based GUI elements and much, much more!
To those who survive the horror the first time around we have an extra ‘hardcore mode’ which gives an even greater challenge to the player. This hardcore mode is not only just about more enemy hitpoints and higher damage.
For the hardcore mode we have changed the maps and puzzles, as well as having extra enemies (including ones unique to hardcore mode), new chilling places and situations, and of course a new ending to go with it.
Welcome to Firefight Descent.
Firefight Descent is not your average firefight. With a focus on cinematic vibes and player interaction, this map takes cues from many of the things that made past firefights great.
Descent breaks away from the usual perceptions of firefight. The map makes use of infinite play, game-changing decisions, and cutscenes to give a new and fresh experience. It is also the first firefight map for Halo Custom Edition to use a bsp (or level geometry) specifically made for the purpose of firefight.
-Before you start the firefight, take a look around. Who knows what things you might find.-

Players could even engage with Miku in activities such as answering trivia questions and playing "patty-cake" type games. These activities would increase the friendship gauge on the top-left corner of the screen and should it fill up at specific points, Miku would reward the player with a gift.
