BoaBite 3D is a variant of Snake, turning the concept into a 3D game and played from a first-person perspective. The player controls a Boa constrictor who wants to eat fruit. The game is played in a closed environment and the snake can be moved in any direction. Four movement keys are used to control the snake and this can be done in the normal control mode (left and right makes the snake turn) or in the elite control mode (named after the spaceship control in the C64 game Elite) where those keys make the snake roll left or right instead of just turning.Metroid X

This is one of the earliest hacks for the original Metroid. Screens, enemy and item placement, palettes, text, and more are all changed. The primary goal was to make the game more playable - the discerning player will note the careful placement of platforms and enemies to make jumps easier. However, beating the game will not be a cinch. Capcom Generations (Capcom Generation in Japan) was a retrospective series of five collections of Capcom's greatest games from their early days. All (except for Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts, made for the SNES) were direct ports of the original arcade games. The series was released for the PlayStation and the Sega Saturn in 1998. Only the first four volumes were released in Europe, with the fifth retitled Street Fighter Collection 2. Only the last volume (Street Fighter Collection 2) was released in North America. The Star Wars Combine is a game set in the Star Wars Universe. The game has been online since 1998 and although it is technically a browser game, it sees itself rather as an MMORPG. It is programmed and run entirely by volunteers, so playing is free. There are no monthly charges and no premium features that are restricted to players who register a paid account. The game is player driven, all roles - from the emperor or commander of the Rebel Alliance to the fighter pilots - are open for player characters. Combat is not implemented yet, but the player driven economy offers many options to mine, trade or build cities, facilities and stations.
