The game includes the 32 levels from the original version, along with the final boss, who requires 20 hits to defeat. The levels are arranged to closely resemble those of the original game; however, notable differences exist due to technical constraints. While the original game supported up to 15×15 blocks per level, this version allows a maximum of only 6×5 blocks.

Battle City Remake is a remake of the original game produced and published by Namco at the year 1985. The game is a multi-directional shooter where you control a tank that must destroy all 20 enemies in each stage to advance to the next level. The enemy tanks on the other side attempt to destroy the player's base as well as the player.
The remake contains all the original 35 stages of the game, but with improved graphics. Like always the idea of our remake is improve the game visuals, but keep the gameplay the most close possible to the original game.
