The game uses a mix of physical cards with chips embedded with near field communication, a specialized electronic game board with NFC and Bluetooth capabilities, and a companion application for mobile devices (iOS or Android) that communicates with the board via Bluetooth. By playing a card, representing a specific song, atop a proper board space, the board will detect its NFC code and relay that to the app, which will play a sample from that song, such as a drum loop or a vocal section. With multiple cards on the board, the app will manage how all the current songs are mixed as played through the app, creating a mashup. Take a dive into the perilous depths of the ocean as you seek sunken treasure while battling creatures who guard their treasure as you manage your precious air supply. Booty Diver is an arcade action game based on Atari/Nintendo games of yesteryear. The game takes a lot of inspiration from the unreleased Atari 2600 title Aquaventure. As the titular Diver you traverse five regions of the ocean seeking out sunken treasure guarded by King Poseidon and his guardians. These dives will not be a simple splash and grab though as you must manage a limited air supply while battling Poseidon's minions which include Starfish, Octopi etc. Don't fret though, as the Diver has the means to defend himself with his short-range diver's knife and his trusty harpoon gun. There are five different regions of the ocean; you take five dives per region, each capped off by a battle with a guardian.
