The game took place in a wide variety of eras, spanning both the prequel and the original trilogies. The game was announced on September 24, 2014, and released on October 30, 2014. In mid-February 2016, DeNA announced the release of 10 new missions on the planet Coruscant, along with the eventual shutdown of the game.
