Battle of the Kings is best described as a blend of role-playing game, real-time strategy game, and management simulation. The mod features two factions: a Red and a Blue faction. At the start of the game, players can choose their preferred faction, guild, difficulty level, and map. Soldiers from both factions automatically attack the enemy faction at regular intervals after the game begins. The primary objective of both factions is to defeat the enemy king with their own soldiers. Players can upgrade their soldiers, crafting better weapons and armor, or recruit mages to support their troops and increase their gold income. Players do not actively participate in combat.
