The Vault Dweller is tasked with exploring post-nuclear California in order to retrieve a water chip to replace the broken chip of Vault 13, their home, which they are the first person to ever leave. The player will engage in Western RPG character building and turn-based tactical combat while getting to know settlements and factions of people, mutants and ghouls through branching dialogue trees.

Dragon Court was a fantasy-themed browser RPG in a medieval setting, which players navigated through simple text descriptions and visuals. The game distinguished itself by its turn-based combat and the imposed daily limit on turns. Adventures involved battling a variety of creatures, with each victory earning them resources and experience to bring them one step closer to reaching the dragon.

PAL is in most ways a traditional Japanese-style role-playing game. The player orders each character in battle, choosing attacks, items, and techniques. Equipment upgrades are represented as scrolls, and techniques can be upgraded as they are used. TaskMaker's Sequel is a role-playing game developed by Storm Impact as a follow-up to the 1990s Macintosh RPG. Set years after the original, players assume the role of the new protector of Castle Hall, succeeding the previous TaskMaker. The game involves helping neighboring villages by retrieving and destroying objects from monsters.
Key features include character customization with gender and class options, a new world design with additional dungeons and villages, and improved graphics. The game was released with limitations due to development constraints and remained at version 1.0 until July 2008, when developer David Cook published a minor update on his personal website.

Solid Runner (ソリッドランナー) is a 1997 turn-based role-playing video game developed by Sting Entertainment and published by ASCII Corporation for the Super Famicom. The game was released exclusively in Japan on March 28, 1997, late in the console's life span.
The game takes place in a town known as Solid City, which despite being technologically advanced, is overrun with crime. Very few people dare to challenge the control of the underground mafias and street gangs that threaten the city. While the game has a continuous plot, players are urged to complete individual missions.
