Pokémon Red++ is a hack of Pokémon Red created by Mateo. The hack uses the Pokered Disassembly from the users at Skeetendo as a base. It is intended both as a Rombase for people who want an updated Red Version as a starting point (although admittedly, some of the features wouldn't appeal to all Gen 1 hackers it seems), and as a stand-alone game for people that want to relive the nostalgia of Gen 1 without some of the broken mechanics and with added features.
Ys 2 was the second game Mantra brought to Korea after Princess Maker. But instead of just porting one of the many available home computer or console versions, Mantra assembled a whole development team to recreate the entire game.
Other than completely redrawn graphics and a remixed soundtrack, Mantra also expanded many of the field maps and added new events, including a new dungeon called Dan'gun's Tower.
Already shamelessly plugged in Cain in the 3rd Earth, Harmonian Tales follows in the footsteps of the previous game as a turn-based RPG. The game takes place in a more traditional fantasy world this time, and is much more light-hearted in its story. The characters are cocky, dialogues silly and the premise about a boy who wakes up in a cave and tries to find his home quite banal. In this respect, it carries many similarities to the Grandia series, but it is never quite as charming.
Cain in the 3rd Earth is a science fiction role-playing game in Japanese style. The player navigates a party of characters through overhead environments. There is no world map, and hostile areas connect villages, towns, and dungeons.
The title might misleadingly imply a sequel to the above mecha shooter, but Maan has actually nothing in common with thata, other than the name of its protagonist. Instead Makkoya created their first traditional RPG, with heavy influences from both Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger. While the graphics at times can even be confused with the former at times, the combat system leans more towards the latter. Enemies are seen on the map at all times, but when the heroes approach them, the game switches into an active turn-based combat mode. It lacks the finesse of its role model and interesting features like the combination techs, though.
The background story is rather silly: A kid wants to play a video game but get smacked in the head by his mother, so he cries himself into the video game somehow. In a world full of strange anthropomorphic characters, he is Zakato, the robotic warrior, and has to team up with two goddesses to fight an evil godess' threat to world peace. On the quest further allusions to Squaresoft gam
DREAMING TREAT is part 5 of the LONELY WOLF TREAT series. this is the story of a very eventful summer for treat, mochi, and moxie. mochi starts a garden! treat starts having strange dreams! and moxie starts working in the nearby witch town! things are peaceful on mount sorbet, but where will it all lead...?
Argo is a role-playing game set in a pseudo-3D continuous world. The player explores the environments from a first-person view. It is possible to try to talk to any encountered character, as well as attack anyone. Most battles take place within the exploration area and involve a fairly simple turn-based exchange of attacks. However, occasional fights against larger monsters take place on a separate screen, have an over-the-shoulder third-person perspective, and require the player to move and attack in real time. Experience points and gold are awarded for defeating enemies. It is necessary to feed the protagonist; when his condition is "hungry" food also restores a portion of his hit points.
"My Older Sister Left The Computer So I Got On And Found Myself Trying To Coordinate A Raid In A Game And I Don't Play MMO's" is a game where you attempt to coordinate a raid in an MMO and give people orders while not knowing how to actually accomplish that due to inexperience.
Based on the winner of a 1996 scenario competition titled "Pandora-wa Pangea Iyagi" (판도라와 팡게아 이야기), Eryner features rather conventional combat but an unique setting, contrary to Jamie's first RPG. The hero in this game possesses a magical mirror with which he witnesses a duel between his best friend and an unsympathetic aristocrat. After accidentally killing his opponent, he is taken prisoner by the royal guard. The friend now tries to get him freed, but first he has to do a number of quests for the king before his plea will be heard.
The characters are controlled just like in an RTS or many Western RPGs of that era, for example Baldur's Gate. It's always reccomended to turn on the AI, as manual combat controls are terribly unresponsive. Unfortunately, the gameplay is really slow, and there's not much for the player to do while waiting till the heroes reach the end of a map or kill the inventively designed monsters. Characters can run, but only until their stamina runs out, which happens all to

The final part of the trilogy makes the other two almost look like beta versions in comparison. To begin with, the story appears much less stereotypical than before. Three mythical sages seek to bring balance to the world by unleashing the power of an ancient magical artefact, the Jumarion. As they can't seize it themselves, they seek out the help of a mortal mage, who longed for the artifact all his life, and leaves a less than thrustworthy impression. Of all this the young knight Kaien knows nothing when he embarks on his pilgrimage. Rather he has to deal with a bunch of supersticious villainers and an alledgedly cursed little girl with a really strange personality...
For the first time the prerendered graphics are rather good-looking, though they still appear sterile. The combat system has also been improved greatly and now stands nothing short of the greatest of beat 'em up-esque ARPGs like Terranigma or Story of Thor. Magic has never been a strength of the Corum series. Now some of the spells actually come in
