Four Footed Friends is an adaptation of the classic 1914 children's book of the same name. It contains rhymes and illustrations about animals with 40 pages in total. The bookworms Albert, Wendy and Pablo guide the player through the story. Albert has interesting facts about animals, while Wendy shows the player how to learn new words, and Pablo allows the player to colour a picture from the story. Activities involve reading, spelling, vocabulary, animal facts, painting, and discovering hidden surprises in the backgrounds such as videos. With the Inter-activator, the player can go forwards, backwards, go to a page, change the language, and visit the card catalogue for other information.
