19-03 Ueno Hatsu Yakou Ressha is a third person adventure game that tells the story of Tsupei Akai a freelance photographer or of Miyuki Hatakeyama a middle school teacher. Both of them take the night train that goes from Toyo's Ueno to Sapporo but what started as a normal train travel soon will start to be a little more complicated since they will be involved into murders, assassins and other dangerous situations.
The player can choose at the beginning of the game which story he wants to play and the situations and reactions of each character are different, so there is 2 adventures in the same game. The game is played in a first person perspective and is like an interactive movie and depending of the player choices his character will or not survive the travel. There are different endings and different death scenes.
The player takes on the role of a taxi driver in Osore Cho (literally Fear Town), listening to the various horror stories of their clients. You have the option to pick up or ignore clients, and the story changes depending on these decisions. Occasionally you will be attacked by paranormal phenomena, so it is still possible to get a game over.
There are 36 stories in total, including 4 hidden stories. Each of the stories are between ten and twenty minutes long. Ten of the stories are narrated by Mr Inagawa, while fourteen are narrated by other voice actors. The remaining eight stories have no narration and are only text based. There are certainly some famous ghost stories included in this collection, in particular 犬鳴峠 - Howling Dog Pass.

Kokoro Connect: Yochi Random is a visual novel adaption of the light novel series Kokoro Connect, which features an alternative storyline based on the original novels and features multiple routes and endings determined by the player's choices during their playthrough.
DOME is based on Shizuko Natsuki's novel of the same name. The original work as well as the game's plot focus on the construction of a nuclear shelter called "The Dome", capable of protecting humans from an impending atomic war. The player takes the role of an employee in an advertisement company, whose job is to raise people's awareness of the shelter's importance, and donate money to the project.
Novelware was a concept to oppose tiresome gameplay and at the same time present serious text-intensive stories. Game scenario reached over 700 pages which was unseen before.
Harukanaru Kioku is a re-imagining of earlier Yami no Ketsuzoku games. The basic plot follows the events that began in the first installment, but it is told in an entirely different fashion, with different scenes, dialogues, etc. For example, the game begins a short while before the starting point of the first chapter, and contains conversations between the protagonist Miyu Izawa and the murder victim Marie, which were not present in the original story. The visual style of the game is also quite different, with bright anime-like graphics atypical of the previous entries.

While the main characters of this game have the same names and similar appearances to their anime equivalents, their personalities are generally more easy-going and their backgrounds are less tragic (they all have living relatives). In comparison to the anime, the game is fairly lighthearted, with Shidō and Guni providing comic relief.
Nightwalker was initially developed as a spin-off project of the adult game Bishōjo Audition: Find an Idol released by Tomboy in February 1993, with the character Rihoko Ayukawa from that game reappearing as a heroine. However, in the process of refining the setting, the heroine's name was changed to Riho Yamazaki, her design was changed, and the story and setting were separated from the previous work. The concept of the world of Nightwalker itself is based on illustrations from 1992.
