Hai no Majutsushi is an implementation of Mahjong tile game. The opponents in the game are characters from Konami's popular franchises: Simon Belmont from Castlevania series, Aphrodite and Poporon (Popolon) from Knightmare series, a snatcher from Snatcher, Dr. Venom from Gradius series, Goemon from Ganbare Goemon series, Penta the penguin from Antarctic Adventure series, and Moai from Gradius / Parodius series.
Three board games are playable in this compilation, which, like the title suggests, are "The Game of Life," "Pay Day," and "Yahtzee." Based off this selection, the compilation is seemingly themed especially to economics and chance. Each time a game is selected, the player has the option to select the number of players, along with whether each player is to be controlled by person or computer.
"The Game of Life," which allows two to four players, involves progressing through many events from the start of college or work, to retirement. The wheel, which can land on numbers 1-10, is meant to determine how many spaces (or sometimes how much money) the player proceeds (or gains). Each space can either mean earning or losing money, and/or it can affect the process of the players/opponent(s) through the game. A few spaces, however, must be landed on by every player. The goal is to retire with the most money.

Cardangels is a card game in which the player takes the roles of the three friends, playing cards against young, attractive female opponents. Four types of card games are available: poker, blackjack, speed, and babanuki (a variant of old maid). A slot machine-like introduction determines which games are played against which opponents. The player can select the amount of rounds (minimum ten) needed to win a game and advance to the next opponent. The "free play" mode allows the player to choose the type of game actively, but the amount of available opponents is lower. There is no gambling in any of the games; points are awarded for combinations in poker and blackjack. The opponents undress after losing a game; however, they retain their underwear - there is no explicit nudity in the game.

Derived from "ザ・モノポリーゲーム2 (The Monopoly Game 2), the game features Monopoly. The player can use "Giga (used in BS-X city)" as currency. An actor Akira Takarada hosts the program, while secret codes are told to the player during the game.
