It was designed by Aurelius and Kaito and uses several music tracks: "Wolverine" and "Atomic" by James Paddock (Jimmy), "Fission Dance" by Brayden Hart (AD_79), and a MIDI rendition of "Gerudo Valley" from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Micro Slaughter Community Project (MSCP for short) is an eighteen-map Doom II megawad for Boom-compatible source ports. The project was led by Bauul and was aimed at creating a set of short and accessible slaughter maps with a par time of five minutes. The WAD uses textures from the OTEX texture set. All four levels are designed around the slaughter map trope; extremely detailed geometry, massive architecture and high density of enemies are landmarks of the mapset. Cryogenics is designed for pistol start. It includes new textures and music. Cryogenics was named as a runner-up during the Cacowards 2018.
