This is the 3.9th in the "Star Revenge" Series of SM64 hacks. Unlike all the other Star Revenges, this hack's 8 main levels are all 2.5D and themed around the beat blocks found in SR3.5.
The hack is split into 2 difficulties:
Normal mode, which has checkpoints in all levels to save your progress and Hard mode, which removes all the checkpoints.
Hard mode can be unlocked once you master all 8 levels once.
If you want to just beat the hack, you can do once you got 8 stars, you are not forced to do anything on hard.
Doing levels checkpointless is more for dare devils that would try to do it anyway, so it got added into the game.
Since the camera can be limited, the hack comes with screenshoots of the levels so you can plan/see ahead what comes next in the level if needed.
This hack can be pretty hard, even on normal, but it's more a thing of getting the timing down. That said, course 8 is no joke tho.
The creation of the ancient Proto Dere .Nes led to AppSir's modern day hits Dere .Exe and Dere Evil .Exe. For 33 years, the cartridge could not be found.
While not as big as AppSir's modern titles, it was an important artifact that was sought after for decades.

Krack the Hack is a short 14-exit hack where you play as a recently-transformed Koopa who is tasked to collect keys to save the Rixzo Army from the evil clutches of Bowser. Each stage has at least 4 keys required to beat the stages, with a twist in each level to make them all a new experience. The game starts easy, and then quickly ramps up in difficulty from beginning to end, to post-end. Each stage contains a moon to find, and something else as well.
Can you get through all 14 stages and find all the secrets?
A ROM hack/mod for Sonic the Hedgehog which changes Sonic for Rouge the Bat. The new character has new abilities such as the glide and an aerial downward attack.
This is 2018’s assignment, a diabolical puzzle. You’re a monk who has forgotten where his cell is in the monastery, and who must walk the labyrinth in order to remember it. If you can find his room, you’ll find out what the assignment prompt is. I was a bit worried the students would be unable to find the prompt hidden in this one, but about half of them got there eventually. (The rest were expelled from the university.)
2018’s class was 100% Pico-8 so it seemed appropriate that the prompt game should be in Pico-8 too. Pico-8 is so great for prototyping — as a case in point, it builds to a single JS and HTML file which loads quite happily in the browser from a local file, so you don’t get annoying permissions or crossdomain problems.
