GunGriffon: Allied Strike takes place in a hostile futuristic world where there is little hope for survival among the human race. The player takes on the role of a renegade soldier, enlisted in an anti-tank troop, whose prime mission is to take down armored tanks, the ultimate ground weapon used to destroy the earth and any living thing that gets in its way. The player uses his entrusted machine, a "High Mac" (High-Mobility Armored Combat System), to fight the battery of armed soldiers and sinister machines that await them on the battlefield. This one features the same additions as the first Hurricane Pack, such as free camera control and the Intercept technique which would be cut from later releases. While the first Hurricane Pack was a variation on the main campaign with new weapons and such, this one is a multi-phase gauntlet of enemies that would serve as the basis for the Mission Mode in Ninja Gaiden Black. Just as with the first Hurricane Pack, this is no longer available to download due to the closure of Xbox Live for the original Xbox in 2010. Phantom Dust is a pseudo-card-based action/strategy game in which the player collects skills (over 300 total) and takes missions to attempt to discover why Earth is in the condition it is. Players construct "arsenals" (similar to decks of cards) from their acquired skills and then use them to battle against other players. The game incorporates strategy and action elements in to a game that requires both mental and reflexive skill. The game remains a cult hit.
