    Shooter Arcade
    Commodore C64/128/MAX
Smash T.V. is a frenetic, dystopian shoot-'em-up set in a futuristic game show where violence and consumerism collide. Created by Eugene Jarvis, the mastermind behind Robotron: 2084, this game takes place in 1999 and puts players in the role of contestants fighting for survival and prizes in a series of deadly arenas. Using a unique dual-joystick control scheme, players must blast through waves of enemies, including mindless beasts and killer robots, while collecting an array of outrageous prizes ranging from toasters to luxury cars. The game's satirical take on consumer culture and media violence is underscored by its over-the-top action and gore. With its intense two-player mode, Smash T.V. offers a relentless, adrenaline-pumping experience that combines skillful shooting with dark humor, creating a cult classic in the arcade shooter genre.. This is the Commodore 64 port of Smash T.V.

I Play 3D Soccer is one of the earliest 3D football games. You take control of a single player, viewing the action from right behind his perspective. Signalling for your team-mates to pass you the ball is a key gameplay element - don't expect to just watch your team win with no contribution from you. When you gain possession (or press the button while not in possession) your player automatically turns to face the goal.

He must travel CAERPHILY through over 100 screens of platform and ladders action, but he's no BABYBEL, and his martial arts training makes him FETA than most, so it can be done. Plenty of objects must be collected en route, and put to use - things such as a spade and jump shoes. Some of the ledges can be stood on, while others disappear when you stand on them (though they all regenerate if you leave and re-enter the screen)

    Commodore C64/128/MAX
The intro shows us Iraqi terrorists breaking into an U.N. military camp escaping with the stockpile. Now it's the turn of the British agents Agaippa and Dausus to catch the terrorists and secure the stockpile. This is a classical "Drive & Shoot" game. You are controlling a red sports car, driving down a narrow road, shooting every car on the road while trying to avoid the enemy's gunfire and various obstacles on the road (The story tells us, it's a chase through hazardous countries like Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Thailand, South Africa and more). The difficulty increases from stage to stage. While in the first stages there is almost no hostile activity almost all cars will start shooting you on sight later in the game. Even worse, there are helicopters and jets going to attack you too. Various obstacles on the road will make it harder to keep the upper hand on the street. These obstacles range from cones, to mines and even rather large rocks. Finally there are various intersections where always one will lead into a dead
  • Clystron

    Clystron

    1991

    Platform Adventure
    Commodore C64/128/MAX
In Clystron you control a walker-like cyborg on its mission to find eight machine parts. The parts must be collected in the correct order. Whenever a part is found, a new transporter destination is unlocked. All parts must be found within a time limit of 15 minutes in order to complete the game. The game is a very basic platformer with rather weired controls. You can only shoot or jump while walking. Moreover, you keep walking in one direction until you press the joystick down, which feels very odd in the beginning and makes the game quite hard to play. Clystron was originally released for the C64 and later ported to the Commodore Amiga. Especially the C64 version was lauded for its great music and graphics.
