The fiend who trapped the two of you is the evil Dr. Graves, who happens to be a surgeon gone completely mad! Although at first glance the island seems pretty nice, with some beautiful green hills and forests, making it a nice setting for your own little private version of The Blue Lagoon, it soon becomes apparent that some very creepy characters inhabit this piece of land. In mansions, castles, a church and even a pyramid live Dracula, Frankenstein, a werewolf, a mummy, a witch and a rather funny looking deformed guy. And if being on the same little continent with these creeps isn’t enough, you actually have got to kill them all before you can leave the island… it just isn’t your day! The monsters are hiding in the different buildings on the island and to kill them you’ll have to find an appropriate weapon. For example, to kill Dracula, you’ll need a stake and a hammer and to kill the

    2016

    Platform
    Commodore C64/128/MAX
Queen Bee is very annoyed at the fact that honey production is very low. Many of her worker bees are just too damn lazy. Luckily, there's one reliable busy, but clumsy bee available for the job, and that is you, Buzzy. Queen Bee sends you out into the wild to bring back pollen so that bee farmers can produce more scrumptious honey for the villagers. In order to do this, as Buzzy, you must go to the flowers in each of the 16 screens and pick out pollen from one flower. You must then drop the pollen into the hive (from any height). Once you have pollen in your possession you are unable to pick any more up until it has been dropped into the bee hive. If you drop pollen in the wrong place, or lose a life, you will have to restart the current level all over again. Avoid crashing into buildings, rocks, flower stems, flowing water (waterfalls are okay though), tree branches, the ground, lava, and of course, the natural wildlife.

The protagonist needs to collect all items scattered out over the levels and reach the escape doors before the time runs out. The task is complicated by numerous enemies roaming around which should be avoided and various electrical discharges. The only way to get rid of a guard is to make a hole in the ground, which may be used as temporary prison. After a certain amount of time a hole is filled up and the guard regains freedom. The game features 30 levels.

Behead your way through the levels of a mysterious world ruled by the Wizard Aroon. This game has a nice idea, you have to bump boulders in from below with your helmet on your head, but the gameplay is unfair, in some situations it's just luck, a good idea changed into a frustrating game. Then on the other hand it is easily possible to leech endless score in the bonus round. Not good. Move joystick left/right on title screen to toggle 1/2 player mode.
  • Clystron

    1991

    Clystron

    1991

    Platform Adventure
    Commodore C64/128/MAX
In Clystron you control a walker-like cyborg on its mission to find eight machine parts. The parts must be collected in the correct order. Whenever a part is found, a new transporter destination is unlocked. All parts must be found within a time limit of 15 minutes in order to complete the game. The game is a very basic platformer with rather weired controls. You can only shoot or jump while walking. Moreover, you keep walking in one direction until you press the joystick down, which feels very odd in the beginning and makes the game quite hard to play. Clystron was originally released for the C64 and later ported to the Commodore Amiga. Especially the C64 version was lauded for its great music and graphics.
