Kamikaze Bros. 3 is a kaizo style SMB3 romhack.
This hack was designed to be fun and very challenging. The player must perform tight jumps, advanced techniques and abuse the game’s mechanics in order to save the princess and emerge victorious.
It’s a battle of wits in this Soviet mind game!
The rule of the game is simple: plug in your Nintendo Zapper Lightgun, pull the trigger… and pray. Two players, six chambers, one bullet. See who comes out alive. Try a higher difficulty for a more risky challenge. Square off against another player or play against the CPU. Still up to the challenge? Then you’d better be lucky. Otherwise it’s lights out in this thrilling Nintendo Light Gun game!
The Super Pitfall 30th Anniversary Edition is a ROM hack made by nesrocks for the NES game Super Pitfall originally programmed by micronics and released for the famicom first in 1986. It works on a NES and emulators, powerpaks, etc!
The hack aims to update the game to be more enjoyable today with revised game design and improved graphics, while trying to maintain the original concept and feel of exploration intact. I have tried to keep the level design the same too, otherwise it just wouldn’t be the same game. There are just a few differences here and there, see if you can spot them.
Some of the changes include:
- Completely new graphics
- Completely new songs
- Items are not invisible anymore
- Warps are now doors you can enter
- The hud shows important item collection progress
- Automatically saved progress
- Some bugs have been fixed
- Improved performance

Mega Man III Ultimate is a rebalance of the game's level designs, with special attention paid to the Doc Robot and Wily stages, extending from kuja killer's Mega Man 3 Improvement hack and serving as a predecessor to the TheSkipper1995's later Mega Man 3 Revamped.
Between the revamped difficulty and inclusions of kuja killer's improvements, Mega Man III Ultimate is "how Mega Man III should have been back in 1990".

This is important because you'll need to maneuver through some tricky mazes without falling off of the edge. Don't worry if you do, though, you have unlimited lives!

A game made for the NES in 2016. Developer Łukasz Kur and musician Robi put together the game in aid of the 2016 Cowlitz Gamers for Kids Expo, an event organised by popular retro gaming YouTuber John Hancock plus friends Chelsea Beck and Jonathan Rose.
The Cowlitz Gamers’ Adventure casts you in the role of youngster Justice as he delves into some mysterious caves in search of gold. Following the format of classic 8-bit single-screen platformers, your goal is seemingly simple: collect all the gold before the time runs out.
Naturally, accomplishing this goal is anything but simple, as there are scores of obstacles and dangerous creatures just waiting to make Justice’s life miserable. With no way to fight back, Justice will have to avoid these various perils on his quest if he wants to survive long enough to spend all his shinies!
In classic 8-bit platformer style, all of the obstacles in your path run on strict, set patterns. When you start a new level, take a moment to watch how everything moves in relation
Mega Man 1 Nes - Graphical Redux by Amaweks.
An extensive graphical hack that makes the stages graphically more colorful, less mono-tones, and change the “anime” pixel art style sprites to a shaded type.
Changes:
Almost all the tiles and sprites have been redesigned in new pixel art style (from “anime” stile to a shaded style).
Almost all the color palettes were changed to pair with the new pixel art style, to make the stages more colorful and harmonious.
Where there was space was added new graphics in stages (clouds, fences, pipes, etc), with the aim of making them more detailed and colorful.
