Pokémon Tourmaline is a ROMhack of and loose sequel to Pokémon Emerald. This game is intended to take place in an alternate timeline where the setting and events have diverged a bit from the official games. Most notably, some mechanics from later gens are absent while others have been reworked, and a number of new mechanics have been introduced.
Play through the original Rubystory with a twist--you can steal trainers' Pokémon.

Rules:
1. Poke Balls, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls are now named Thief Balls, Robber Balls, and Burglar Balls.
2. You can capture trainers' Pokémon using those balls. (Stealing is not allowed in Double Battles.)
3. You cannot capture wild Pokémon.
4. Your Pokémon do not gain experience.

This is basically a remake of Super Metroid and it's better then GBA Edition: most of the tilesets have been improved as well as seaquence breaking, glitches have been fixed, the map has been revamped.
Version 1.2 fixes a glitch that happened when shooting up or down with wave beam.
