Lion King II is an unlicensed platformer for the Sega Mega Drive. It is loosely based on the 1994 film The Lion King (as opposed to its 1998 sequel which shares the Lion King II title). It was developed by Gamtec at an unknown date, and uses sound effects from other unlicensed Mega Drive games. For example, the sound for Simba slashing enemies is the select sound from Rockman X3, and the sound when picking up an item is from Squirrel King.
A sequel, Lion King 3, was developed later on, and is also loosely based on the first movie.

Sonic 2 Retro Remix is a large-scale ROM hack of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Mega Drive, created by Thorn and DNXDelta. The goal of the project is to create a 2D Sonic the Hedgehog game that requires exploration to progress, as well as the requisite platforming and sheer speed. A mission system akin to those of the 3D Super Mario games is implemented as the means of progressing from one level to the next. Missions involve earning Chaos Emeralds in scavenger hunts, boss battles, speed runs and score attacks; most require learning each level's ins and outs, instead of just finding the easiest way to the goal.

Sonic 1 Beta Remake is a Sonic 1 hack created by Mistergambit. The hack has all of the Sonic 1 levels redesigned to look like their prototype counterparts, as seen in various magazine screen shots. This hack also has new objects, such as a functioning Splats, the checkered ball that was scrapped from GHZ, and more. To make it seem more like a genuine prototype, some levels are made to look unfinished.

Two players select a character (one being Sonic and the other being Tails) and both battle it out to try to gain as many hits on Eggman. The catch is that Eggman only gets destroyed when the timer runs down to 0 (unless it's a draw at that time, then, it will wait for another hit). The player with the most hits at the end of the timer wins. The player can also win if the other player dies before the timer runs out (if respawn mode is off).
