The Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus Cyoi Change is a version of the Entama following complaints that the games were too difficult for new players. It is visually distinguished from the original by having "plus"-shaped beads instead of round beads.
The Hanerutchi 2 is a Tamagotchi released in August 2006 exclusive to Japan. The programming is based on that of the Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus, while the characters are based on characters from the Japanese comedy show Haneru no Tobira. The Hanerutchi 2 had its own TamaTown tie-in, called Hanerutchi Town.
The Ura Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus, also known as the Uratama is a Tamagotchi release that was released in Japan on July 22, 2006. It is a themed rerelease of the Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus, featuring the Ura Tamagotchi, a subspecies of the Tamagotchi race that live in Uratama Town, a city located inside Tamagotchi Planet's mouth where it's always night.
The Uratama is distinguished from the Entama by its star-shaped antenna tip, star-shaped beads, and unique blue LCD screen.
The LCD version of Hang-On is an handheld game developed by Handheld Ltd.. It was distributed by Epoch in 2006 as part of the EL-SPIRITS Retro series.
It is based on the arcade game, Hang-On. Another "port" exists as Electronic Hang-On.
The Tamagotchi Connection V3 is the third Tamagotchi Connection release that debuted in February 2006. It was the first Tamagotchi release outside Japan to interact with the TamaTown website. It has more characters than the previously released versions (52 total) and offers a password concept similar to the Keitai Kaitsuu Tamagotchi Plus and the Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus.

The VG Pocket 50, also known as VG Pocket, is a VT09-based handheld manufactured by JungleTac and distributed by Performance Design Products. As its name suggests, the VG Pocket 50 has 50 built-in games. Its internal name is VG-2000.
