While many were hopeful that diplomacy would finally end the war, differing opinions on what should be done, along with the depleted power of the controlling factions, has led to a splintering of the groups involved.
The loyalist members of the Trader Emergency Coalition adopt a policy of isolation, focusing on enhanced defenses to ride out the rest of the war. Those who rebel against the coalition take on a purely militant view, coming to the opinion that the only way to bring peace is by ultimately crushing all who oppose them - especially xenos.
For the first time in their history, the war creates a schism in the Advent Unity. The loyalists seek to continue their policy of revenge against the Traders, and to assimilate all others to the Unity’s influence. However, others amongst the Advent suspect that a corrupting influence from within has diverted the Unity from its proper destiny.
The divide created in the Vasari Empire is less pronounced, but just as sever
Wolfram is a modern remake of Wolfenstein 3D, game created by id Software in 1992. It is designed mainly for those fans who wants to play old good game, but who is tired of pixelated sprite graphics. Well, many people could say that it is nonsense, retro games are distinctive and original and do not need any graphic enchancements. This is the point, but we, the authors, think in a different way. We hope that the remake will find it's niche and some of you guys will like it.
Originally conceived as a board game, the developers realized during the development process that it was gaining many elements that are closely related to the dynamics of social games. That's precisely why the game was developed for Facebook.
In this multiplayer-focused game, you must lead a group of cangaceiros (bandits) in turn-based battles, navigating through farms, towns, and swamps of the caatinga (Brazilian northeastern region). The battles occur turn by turn, and a single combat can last from a few minutes to several weeks: you make your move and then wait for your opponent (who might be offline at the moment). There are two distinct groups in the game: the cangaceiros and the volante (police force). As you challenge and defeat your enemies, you climb the ranks, getting closer to the title of the cangaço king.
Smokin' Guns is a total conversion of Quake III made available as a stand-alone title. It is a multiplayer game with a western theme with the game modes duel, deathmatch, team deathmatch, round teamplay, and bank robbery where one team consists of outlaws trying to steal gold and another as lawmen preventing them from entering the bank.
The game comes with many maps set in deserted towns, a mine, a steamboat and an express train. The arsenal consists of single or dual pistols, shotguns, machine guns, shotguns and other items such as a scope, dynamite and boiler plates. Weapons can be found by picking them off dead players or through the in-game buy menu. Cash for the weapons is earned by killing players or by collecting it in the level where it respawns regularly. Through the same menu, ammunition can be bought.
The levels often offer a stealth approach, hiding behind crates or shooting through windows that can break. Weapons can only contain a small amount of bullets (unless an additional ammo belt is bought
Inspired by a famous tabletop game from Games Workshop, Dungeonbowl offers you a dangerous and crazy sport opposing two football teams, but also a deep tactical turn based game driven by dice. The key difference between Dungeonbowl and Blood Bowl as is rather obvious from the name, is that Dungeonbowl is played in a dungeon!
The game also introduces some subtle modifications to the standard Blood Bowl rules. A match is still played between two teams, but each side is composed of three races. For example, the roster of a Rainbow Wizards team contains Wood Elves, Halflings and Humans.
It's a big day for Daniel - he's about to test a teleportation device he's been building for the last few years.
Will everything go as planned, resulting in a stunning breakthrough in modern science, or is he, as it so often happens in situations like this, going to end up in a parallel universe, where magic and fairies are pretty common, while cell phones and sneakers aren't?
Of Light & Shadow is an award winning sidescrolling puzzle platformer for PC and Mac released under CC BY-NC-ND. The game combines two areas in each level, light and shadow, as well as two protagonists in one playable character, Mr. Light and Dr. Shadow. While either can only survive in light or shadow areas respectively, the player has to constantly switch between them and make the right decision about whose abilities to utilise.
Of Light & Shadow was achieved as a final project at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences by a team of students called 12 Angry Devs.
These levels are the first four of them, and they are the bigger too. All maps can be finished starting with pistol only. Maps are hard, but difficult levels are implemented.
