Its popularity in Japan has given rise to a number of Battle Moon Wars games. The series has a basic similarity to the Super Robot Wars series and its Super deformed looks, as well as taking its crossover concept. The game uses the crossover of Type-Moon's visual novel and anime series, including Tsukihime and Fate/stay night with several original characters made exclusive by Werk. Tobi Tsukihime is a horizontally scrolling shooter developed by 01step and based upon Tsukihime, a doujin visual novel created by Type-Moon. Tobi Tsukihime is a typical shooting game in which the player takes the role of Kohaku, a maid in the Tohno mansion, along with Len the demon succubus. The player's firepower consists of a main shot (allows for rapid fire), a number of bombs for moderate damage and a spinning marble created by Len. Power-ups are available for the main shot by collecting items or enemy shot down. During level-up Kohaku is invicible for a short of time. The marble plays as an indestructable weapon which can firing forward or moved freely in any direction. Water Bugs is a game in the vein of JezzBall, in that the player must divide the playfield into sections in order to clear it of enemies. As the player divides the playfield, the smaller section will be blanked out killing any enemies trapped within and walking along the border. When the playfield is reduced to 15% of its original size, the level is cleared and the player can move on to the next. There are two different kinds of enemies: ones walking around the border of the playfield and ones swimming around inside the playfield. The enemies display different movements. While most walk in their own random patterns, some will actually follow the player's launcher. Some border walking enemies will even attack the player's dividing lines in order to stop the division from happening.
