Finally a game that almost feels like the Diablo Series, Town Area's, Gheed (your Favorite merchant), You have skill systems, weapons, chests, useful items, hidden loot that can boost your stats, monsters from diablo 1 and 2, music from diablo 1 and 2, sound effects from diablo 1 and 2, Voices from Cain during intermissions, and map designs that are as close to the original games as possible. Its insane how much work went into this. Special thanks to Void Weaver, Aheretic, Ogden, Hoover1979, Thetis and others for contributing to this master piece. (A more expansive list of credits is in the game menu)
"The Inquisitor III" is a full-fledged RPG based on GZDoom engine. There are no defined classes. You can develop your character in different directions, creating your own class as a result. You can get in the way of the warrior, battle mage, priest (i.e. mage, specializing mainly in defensive spells) or a combination of these ways in different proportions.
We have our own dialogue system for which you have to setup two additional buttons in the menu: one - to switch between anwers, the other - to use the selected one. These buttons are also used to select and cast defensive spells.
Compared with "The Inquisitor II", the set of weapons and monsters is significantly expanded. New spells and items in the inventory are also available.
There are 12 large maps combined into one hub.
What is this mod? well it is heavily inspired by a mix of Doom Eternal and Doom16, plus a bit of the whole "overpoweredness" inspired by other gameplay mods.
Eriguns is a simple-ish weaponmoddy thing that takes ErianceAmuscaria's kickass Demon Eclipse weapon sprites and puts a xaseriffic code-y spin on 'em. it's basically just a thing i made once because i liked the sprites but then i released it and some other folks liked it too so das cool i guess
Doom Tournament is a gameplay mod for GZDoom created by Marisa Lago. Its development began in May of 2018 as a small test for supporting Unreal Engine 1 model files in GZDoom, growing into a full port of Unreal Tournament's arsenal once this was deemed a success. The first 1.0 release came out in October of 2019, and its latest released version is 1.1.3 (May 31st, 2021). Since November of 2021, the mod is no longer updated. [1]
Doom Tournament attempts to port the entire set of weapons from the classic Unreal Tournament, along with several of its items. Through the use of ZScript, much of the mod's functionality is almost identical to the original game, in many cases even code-wise, due to similarities between scripting languages.
