In the small hamlet of Elkedor lives the Baker family, isolated and almost ''inexistent'' for the townsfolk. Arold, family man and lawyer with no fame, enters in a difficult time of his life between alcoholism and a falling apart marriage. His days began getting filled by drinking more and more, while his wife and their two children, Sarah and Thomas, started to get detached and cold. One night the two went missing. Desperate at the thought of losing them he decided to investigate until, thanks to clues found in the house, succeeds in finding a hidden passage. Lies, compulsions, and hatred are the summary of what underlies in the ambitious Baker family.
A grassroots space-themed metaverse and gaming project, the STARL Metaverse Project was built from the ground up by a team of community-sourced and AAA game developers and designers. It contains rich and sometimes outlandish designs, themes, environments, and characters that go beyond the mainstream and standard metaverse projects.
Starting out as a crypto token, it has evolved into a full-fledged game and environment built in Unreal Engine 5 and utilizing both on-chain and offchain assets so users can choose their level of involvement with blockchain technology. As the project's theme indicates, "Be Yourself" is the goal, and deep customization extends beyond characters to ships and environments.
There are portals within the STARL environment connecting to many aspects of the environment, such as the MMO Space flight, battle, and trading game Warp Nexus, live events arenas, living modules to conquer solar systems, meditation rooms, themed lounges, and the goal of integrating education into the environment.
This well-thought-out title is an interactive story beautifully narrated by Academy-Award winning actor Ben Kingsley. Kingsley, in the role of the Story Teller, offers a pleasant, pleasurable stroll through an Amazon village and its surroundings. The story follows jungle-boy Kiyeko's effort to retrieve the Night, stolen by a couple of snakes reminiscent of Disney's bad-guy animal characters, through 11 different animated scenes - from Kiyeko's village in the Amazon jungle, through the forest, to the snakes' lair, and back again. The well-drawn graphics, which integrate 3D backgrounds with 3D animations, and movie-style quality of the title are lovely to look at, regardless of your age.
