Word Munchers Deluxe

Overview

Word Munchers Deluxe is an action-puzzle edutainment game developed and published by MECC for Windows PCs and Macintosh computers in 1996, with later re-releases by The Learning Company.

A sequel to the 1985 game Word Munchers and based on Math Munchers Deluxe, Word Munchers Deluxe has players guiding Muncher as he walks around a 5×4 grid and eats the correct words (or a visual representation of the correct words) that fulfill the correct criteria (such as categories and grammatical rules) while avoiding the Troggles (if they are enabled).

There are five difficulty levels (Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4, and Grade 5).
