Bemani later developed several updated versions of IIDX to increased success. The game retrospectively received a positive reception from video game publications for its gameplay and increased difficulty.

    Magical Drop III was ported twice to the Sony PlayStation. The first PlayStation port, Magical Drop III: Yokubari Tokudaigou!, and features a mode that attempts to play similar to the arcade version alongside the Saturn's "special" rebalanced mode. Despite the "arcade" version visually mimicking the Neo Geo AES version (down to emulating the starting menu), there are several gameplay and graphical quirks that suggest that it is an adjusted version of the "special" mode rather than a direct port. The choice between Arcade and Special mode is given to the player immediately upon booting the game, and the system must be reset to switch.

    Weltorv Estleia is a non-linear role-playing game set in a medieval fantasy world with its own mythical history and lore.     Dark Eyes was a 1999 MMORPG for Windows PCs by Nextech. It is one of the few games Nextech developed and published itself rather than for another company. Sega, who had complete ownership of the company at the time, announced a port to the Sega Dreamcast sometime in 1999. This never went to completion for unknown reasons. One exposition, in PlayerOne issue 99 page 28, showed the game having 3000 payers in one environment.
