The game takes place between the events of The House of the Dead 2 and The House of the Dead III, and introduced several new gameplay concepts. Players can control characters James Taylor, from The House of the Dead 2, or Kate Green, a new character to the series. The House of the Dead 4 is the first game to run on the Sega Lindbergh arcade system board. Gushers Re-Do Your Room or Gushers Place was an online Flash game/website created to promote the Fruit Gushers Re-Do Your Room sweepstakes that took place in the summer of 2005. Users would enter a lobby room, register a username and password, and were assigned a room number on a random floor. This room could then be customized with a wide array of pre-made furniture. New items could be obtained by entering codes found on specially marked Fruit Gushers snacks. An "Express Elevator" was available to allow quick access to a room you have already registered, and to enter other user's rooms if they had the right floor, room number, and username. The game also included a unknown mechanic that would allow other users to "mess up" other's rooms. In 2005 a mobile version of Age of Empires II was released for Java mobile devices (J2ME), called Age of Empires II Mobile and developed by In-Fusio. It featured much simplified gameplay and graphics, designed for the mobile devices of the time. The mobile game features similar gameplay to the PC version, albeit on a smaller scale. Three modes are available: a tutorial, a campaign split into three campaigns of seven scenarios each, and random map. Villagers gather food, wood, gold, and stone as resources, and military units can be trained. The player must progress through four different Ages: Dark Age, Feudal Age, Castle Age, and Imperial Age. It featured the 'Career Mode' concept from Formula One 04, which allows players to work their way through the Formula One teams over the course of five years (albeit a repeat version of the 2005 season each time). This game also supports EyeToy: Cameo, allowing players to place their own face on a driver when creating their profile, but unlike F1 04, though they cannot choose their own helmet. The cover athletes are Jenson Button, David Coulthard and Narain Karthikeyan. Players start out testing for a smaller teams (Minardi, Jordan and Red Bull Racing (Like in F1 04, a generic car does exist, but it is only used in Time Attack mode)). Players then work their way up the grid throughout their 'career' through a mixture of good tests and impressive race performances.
