Proliferation is a formerly-shareware World War III strategy game for up to six players, human- or computer-controlled. Nuclear weapons, both tactical and strategic, have proliferated throughout the nations of the world, and the five largest nuclear powers, after failed efforts to militarily compel the smaller nuclear-armed nations to disarm, have plunged the world into global war. You take the role of one of the five major nuclear powers, seeking to extend your sphere of influence and eventually become the dominant power.
Thor's Hammer is a first-person shooter in the style of an RPG. Your character can walk, run, and strafe in any direction in a "flat" 3D environment, battling enemies in real time, and there is no money or experience points.
The object of the game is to destroy as many helicopters and paratroopers as possible. If a paratrooper lands on the ground he may still be hit by flying debris, another paratrooper free- falling on top of him or by your gravity-bound shells.
There are three levels of play: Easy, Hard, and Insane. You may select the level of play before the game starts.
The game also keeps track of your statistics, how many shots fired, how many hits, how many choppers and troops hit, etc.
Keep in mind that you have until the START of the next sortie to try and kill the troops on the ground, using the gravity-bound shells or dropping burning wreckage on them. When the next sortie starts, if there are more than four (4) troops landed on either side of your base the game will end and your gun emplacement will be BLOWN UP!
A "sequel" of sorts to Sensible Software's 1996 Sensible World of Soccer. Based on the teams that played in Euro '96 tournament, SWOS: European Championship Edition sports new features that make the game even more addictive than SWOS, including the ability to pull off looping headers and curved passes, trial players, international management, and more charming cartoony graphics such as animated crowd and goal celebrations. The PC version of SWOS: ECE features digitized match commentary and funny animation sequences.
Fueled by a nitro-burning, 64-bit graphics engine, PowerDrive Rally delivers the sights, sounds and the chaotic intensity of pure Rally racing. Sports Trivia combines football management with a sports quiz. In order for the player to win a football match, a careful strategy must be chosen, then the player must answer some sport-related questions in a limited. More correct answers will allow the player's team more yardage across the field for a higher chance of scoring. This particular version of the game is not fully understood - it is thought to have only been distributed as a pack-in with Game Gear consoles. A separate, updated version exists in the form of Sports Trivia: Championship Edition.
