World Series Baseball, known in Japan as Hideo Nomo World Series Baseball, is a Sega Saturn baseball game developed and published by Sega. An entry in the titular World Series Baseball series of baseball titles, the game was first released in the United States in November 1995, with a worldwide release in the following months. In Japan, World Series Baseball game is sponsored by professional Japanese baseball player Hideo Nomo. The game later received a 1996 sequel, World Series Baseball II. This Saturn version is unrelated to the Sega Mega Drive and Sega Game Gear games of the same name - it is a brand new entry, despite not having a brand new name (although during development it was known as Grand Slam Baseball), which takes advantage of the system's 3D graphics. Japanese version possibly to make this distinction, being sponsored by Hideo Nomo. Sapo Xulé: S.O.S. Lagoa Poluida is a retooled version of Astro Warrior, released by Tec Toy in 1996 for a Brazilian audience. It was later brought to Portugal. S.O.S. Lagoa Poluida is virtually identical to Astro Warrior, but now takes place underwater rather than in Space. In this puzzle game, 3 rotatable balls consisting of 4 basic colors, yellow, pink, green, blue, fall from the top to the lowest part of the screen. When groups of like-colored spheres collect together, they disappear and the space is filled in with surrounding spheres. Bonuses are awarded for completing combos and the game ends when the entire screen has been filled up. The game has many modes of play: Single, Puzzle, Vs. Computer and Vs. Player. An adventurer named Dusty returns home with an enchanted Totem Pole. Due to an assortment of rare events, the spirits of the Totem have been freed and they have created a bizarre parallel universe that can devour the world. Lowman, the "head" of the Totem, needs some "muscle" as he calls it, to bring them back. He finds a pencil on the desk and makes it come to life. The pencil tells Lowman to call him Woody, WILLLLLLLLD Woody. Lowman explains what has happened with his Totem brothers and now Woody goes into the parallel universe, dimension by dimension, and rounds up Lowman's Totem brothers. In this game, you destroy your enemies by jumping on top of them and Woody can also wipe them out with his eraser. You can erase certain walls to get through them and you can also erase boxes that most of the time teleport if you press down. Other boxes contain items. This adventure game, the first ever released by Her Interactive, lets you take on the life of a teenage co-ed in her junior year at Madison High. In this role, you'll do everything a girl of this age does in her daily life at home, school and work -- from deciding what to wear each day to going to work after school. Talk with friends in person and on the phone, attend classes, study, do homework, shop for clothes at the mall and go out on dates. You choose one of two characters to play. Besides your 6 closest friends, there are 20 other characters to meet during the course of the game - including prospective boyfriends. The scenarios are presented by way of video clips. Conversations come about by selecting one of several provided replies. There are various types of mini-games to solve within the game including variations of Concentration and Tetris as well as a shooting accuracy game and a picture puzzle.
