Step up to the plate and swing for the fences with Triple Play 2002. The action on the field comes to life with real player models and dramatic out-of-play sequences, giving players the chance to experience big game moments such as a game-winning hit or a key strikeout.
Triple Play 2002 features Single Game, Season and Playoff modes in addition to the new Home Run Derby mode. In Home Run Derby Mode, players can compete in an eight-player elimination tournament and try to hit as many home runs as possible before getting 10 outs.
Behind the microphone for Triple Play 2002 will be a new broadcast team: award winning broadcaster Bob Costas doing play-by-play with color commentary provided by ESPN Baseball Tonight analyst Harold Reynolds.
The game is set within the world of Etheria. In the campaign the player must take control of one of the twelve races and capture all sixty-seven regions of the land in a non-linear manner. The player does this whilst assuming the role of a "Hero" which he or she has created. There are twelve different playable races, each with their own type of Hero, buildings and resource dependencies.
Sled Storm is a racing game featuring snowmobiles (referred to as sleds), stunts and fourteen snow-covered courses consisting of slippery slopes, inclement weather and treacherous cliffs. Up to four players can also participate at once, making this title one of the few racing games on the PlayStation (as of 1999) to feature split-screen action with more than two players. Sled Storm also offers two forms of racing for both multi-player and solo competition: Championship and Quick Race.
The Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast demo was released in 2002, offering players a preview of Raven Software’s sequel to Jedi Knight. It features an exclusive single-player mission set on the Imperial outpost of Kejim, where Kyle Katarn and Jan Ors investigate mysterious Remnant activities. It showcases the game’s blend of first-person shooting and third-person lightsaber combat, along with Force powers that became central to the full game.
The nefarious pirate Captain Hook found a map to Neverland's hidden treasure and intends to plunder it. Since he now knows where the treasure is located he hacks up the treasure map to pieces and scatters the pieces throughout Neverland so no one else will be able to locate the treasure. Meanwhile, the fairy Tinkerbell informs Peter Pan that there is a treasure somewhere in Neverland. So now Peter Pan and Tinkerbell are on a quest to locate the hidden treasure too by finding and putting back together the pieces of the sliced up treasure map.
Players take the role of Peter Pan and occasionally as Tinker Bell throughout 20 different stages. Some of the stages include Hangman's Tree, the Mermaid Lagoon, Pirate's Cove, Indian village, and Skull Rock.
The game features two immediately playable craft: Nym's starfighter, "The Havoc", which features heavy armament as a bomber, and Adi's fighter, which features force powers such as lightning and force shield.
There are also nine unlockable craft which can be played on any mission: the X-wing, Tie fighter, Reti's advanced Zoomer, Adi's advanced Jedi starfighter, Saboath fighter, Jenkin's advanced Freefall, Nym's advanced Havoc, a Republic gunship, and Jango Fett's Slave I. In addition, with the code "headhunt," the Z-95 headhunter can be unlocked.
Enclave is a level-based action RPG game with a mix of shooting and puzzles, pitting the player as one of twelve different characters on either side in this medieval era. As a member of the Light side: a Knight, a Huntress, a Wizard, a Druid, an Engineer or a Halfling can be chosen. At the opposite end of the spectrum: a Berserker, an Assassin, a Sorceress, a Lich, a Bombardier, or a Goblin. The player needs to perform different tasks leading ultimately to one objective; protect the Enclave (Light) or invade the land (Dark). To accomplish these tasks, various weapons, such as swords, bows, staffs and spears, can be used. To aid the player, shields are readily available, as well as a select few potions. Armor is abundant and comes in many shapes and sizes.
PacMania II is the fourth game in the Alawar PacMania series based on the original Pac-Man. Like in Pac-Man, all the dots from a board need to be eaten in order to pass to the next board. If the characters bumps into a monster, he loses a life. There are special pills in every stage allowing the character to eat the monsters for a short period of time.
The game contains three game modes: Classic: this is the original style of Pac-Man*, the player is the yellow dot muncher, and the enemies are the four ghosts.
- Advanced: in this type the player's character is a pair of big lips and the enemies are skeletons.
- CarMania: in this type the player is bulldozer and the enemies are little cars. Objects turn into fuel tanks, screwdrivers and hearts. This third mode was added in an updated version.
In every game type there are also bonuses. Most of them offer points and hearts provide extra lives. For every five completed levels a password is provided to continue from there.
