Sensible World of Soccer '95/'96 is the successor to Sensible World of Soccer. Besides updated team rosters, the most important additions are two new moves (curved passes with the after-touch system and standing headers), updated representation of athlete statistics (stars instead of numbers, each athlete has up to three specialist skills such as heading-shooting-finishing), the ability to tag an athlete (then he has a small diamond above his head during the match) and reserve teams. Soccer Superstars is a 2D side-scrolling football game in which the player can chose from 32 international teams to take part in either friendly games or cup tournaments. These can be played against the computer or both computer and a friend, however there is also a demo mode in which you will be able to see an entire tournament -or a friendly match- as a mere spectator. You are also free to modify team line-ups (all composed of real national player names), select basic formation systems, and alter the game length. Player Manager 2 sets you as an international-standard soccer player who's stepped into being a player-manager at a lower-division side. The challenge is to reach the Premier League and survive. Most of the standard features of management games are present, including pre-match tactics (which are fairly customizable), a full transfer market including short-term loan deals, detailed player statistics (presented visually), ground improvements and coaching. Playing the matches is optional, as you can simply watch instead. There are 4 playing views, and you can play in position or as a team. Initially your player is by far the best in the team, so choose his position and use him wisely. Once you reach retirement age you can only play the matches for 3 out of every 4 seasons (which is poorly explained by an 'assistant manager' concept, but is more likely an attempt to make the game harder. Center Ring Boxing is an unlicensed 3-D polygon boxing game where the player can choose from 30 different male or female boxers and compete in six different weight divisions. They may also create their own boxer and use them to rise through the ranks to become champion choosing from one of five distinct styles of boxing. There is also a trainer by the name of Snake that will help train the player as they progress thorough the game as well as become a selectable character along with a hidden character in two-player versus mode once the player becomes heavyweight champion.
