The imperium was reigned by an imperator, who kept up law and order for some time. But now, the imperator is dead and a war has started between the six lords of the universe, who'll become the new imperator. The six lords do nearly everything to expand themselves and to reign the whole universe one day. One of them is John O'Connor. A master in strategy and a believer in law and order. Will he reign the universe one day and will he cope with the other 5 cruel lords? The player takes the role of O'Connor and has stop all other lords and to take over their planets. Full Metal Planète is a tie-in of a board game of the same name. Up to four players land on a planet with their motherships, trying to gather as much ore as possible within 24 game rounds. This almost sounds like a happy, idyllic round of pick-the-flowers, if it weren't for the truckload of tanks and destroyers that each players happens to have in the cargo area of his mothership. So the players usually spend an equal amount of time picking up ore and bashing their contenders' heads in. The computer game is an accurate conversion of the board game; virtually every feature is present. Strategy is needed to succeed in the game. The only semi-random thing are the tides (high tide, low tide, and something in-between) which can strand boats and engulf tanks, but even they can be partially predicted.Venus Senki

Moulin Rouge Senki: Melville no Honoo ("Record of Moulin Rouge War: Melville's Flame") is a strategy war sim with RPG elements for the Famicom. The player controls a party of heroes with an entire army under their control, and fights other armies and random encounters with monsters. To begin the game, the player must purchase and equip their army before setting out. The game's battles play out in turn-based formations, and each formation acts separately and can target different formations on the enemy's side. For instance, the archers can aim for any of the four rows of enemy forces, though front-line melee fighters are far more limited.
