    Mortal Kombat: Armageddon brags a roster of 62 characters and sees the return of classic ones from the original Mortal Kombat, such as Reptile, Shang Tsung and Goro. The enhanced Konquest mode (story/adventure mode) improves over the preceding versions, but has a shorter length. There are now 64 arenas (including revamped versions of classic environments) which each have their own tweaks, such as the ridiculous amount of stage fatalities (fatalities are a fancy way of killing your opponent, including classic techniques such as the "spine-rip" or "arm-break").

    Higurashi Daybreak is a doujin game developed and distributed by Twilight Frontier with the cooperation of 07th Expansion. Unlike the original sound novels, the game is a two-on-two versus third-person shooter based on the system of the Mobile Suit Gundam VS Series. Characters from "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni" utilize weapons such as bats and hatchets in battles set in Hinamizawa. The scenario is an original work by Ryukishi07 and does not feature the horror elements present in the source material. Despite being a doujin game, it employs the same voice actors as the original drama CDs and anime adaptation, which is unusual for fan-made games.

    Bleach: Heat the Soul 3 is the third installment in the Heat the Soul series, released on July 20, 2006. The game features 34 characters, covering events from the Soul Society: The Sneak Entry arc to Ulquiorra Schiffer's introduction at the beginning of The Arrancar arc. Unique to Heat the Soul 3 are "Soul Road" and "Karakura Heroes." In Soul Road, the player is to select the desired character and partner character. Afterwards, the player is set on a board game-like map where the goal is to pass through markers in order to fight enemies. After each match, the player is given an amount of "Trust points" (how many received depends on the mode's difficulty) which go towards leveling up partner characters and unlocking bonuses, such as alternate costumes and new partners. To unlock these bonuses, the player must find a blue marker to turn in their points; however, before doing so, the player must answer a multiple choice question.     Ultraman Fighting Evolution 0 (ウルトラマン ファイティング エボリューション ゼロ) is a fighting game from the series Ultraman Fighting Evolution. It is the fifth and currently last entry in the series. The game was released to coincide with the release of the film, Ultraman Mebius & the Ultra Brothers. Both the movie and the game were created to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Ultraman.
