You start with only two guns a .22 caliber rifle (SR22) and a 9mm automatic pistol (G17), but over time you can collect SP to buy more guns. You can press Shift to run, although that reduces stamina, which causes less precise shots, but can go on sight mode by pressing E, you shoot by pressing Space, walk with the arrow keys, switch guns by pressing Q, reload the guns by pressing R and you can throw pipe bombs by pressing G. Scattered Ashes is a 10-level wad made in 3 weeks as a part of the NaNoWADMo 2018 project. Each map takes about 5 minutes to play through. The gameplay is pretty standard in some maps, but in others it can get quite gimmicky, so there's a bit of variety in terms of that. The wad is split into 2 episodes. This project started on Doom Power as a compilation of maps from speedmapping and gradually turned into something more. Some maps were seriously reworked, others were created from scratch and went a long way of development, or were transferred from other projects. The overall style of the project is very heterogeneous, and is a mixture of highly detailed and lengthy work, adjacent to the short and minimalist, practically unchanged speed mapping.
