    Dancing Stage is a series of music video games developed and published by Konami. It is a spin-off of Dance Dance Revolution for the European market as well as a few Japanese titles. Games were released for arcade, PlayStation, PlayStation 2 and Wii. Dancing Stage is a music video game released in arcades on March 9, 1999. It includes 13 songs: nine composed by Naoki Maeda, and four licenses. It uses the Dance Dance Revolution 2ndMix engine. In North America, the game received a PlayStation port, which omits "Butterfly" and "Make It Better (So-Real Mix)".     is a music video game developed by Konami's music video game division, Bemani, released in Japan on February 26, 1999. The objective is to perform songs using a controller with seven keys and a turntable. Its cabinet contains a widescreen monitor, massive speakers, and eight spotlights. Bemani later developed several updated versions of IIDX to increased success. The game retrospectively received a positive reception from video game publications for its gameplay and increased difficulty.

The game is played with a controller with one turn table and 5 keys, three white and two black. On the screen you will see bars moving from the top to bottom in columns representing each of the keys and the turntable. When the bars reach the judgement line it is time to scratch. Even though the game is based on the beatmania 3rdMIX engine, it does not feature a combo count. It is the first game in the series to show song titles on the song select and not just the genres. The flashing great judgement is introduced, which requires better precision to obtain over the normal great judgement. INTERNET RANKING functionality is implemented. It is the second game to be released for the Playstation. Since this is an Append release, it needs another beatmania title to act as a key disc to boot the game. The game is played with a controller with one turn table and 5 keys, three white and two black. On the screen you will see bars moving from the top to bottom in columns representing each of the keys and the turntable. When the bars reach the judgement line it is time to scratch. Unlike the arcade counterpart, the Playstation version does not have a combo counter. Expert mode is also missing from this version of the game. The game features all songs from the arcade release except for 4: Beginning of life, DJ BATTLE, jam jam reggae (FUNKY jam Cookie mix), and SKA a go go. The game has a total of 23 songs.

    Beatmania (Also known as beatmania CS to distinguish it from the arcade game) is a rhythm game developed by Konami. It is the first game in the beatmania series to have a home release. Which in turn is part of the BEMANI franchise. This game is based on the engine from beatmania 2ndMIX and contains many songs from that game. A second CD is also included with the package, beatmania APPEND YebisuMIX, exclusive to this release. The base game is what is called a "Key disc", meaning it can be used to launch other APPEND games in the series, this was made so that they could contain more music and assets on the game without having to ship the engine.
