Initially entered in the 2012 16KB Cartridge Development Competition (where it secured 2nd place), Assembloids has been further refined and enhanced for this final retail version. Based on Photon Storm's excellent Quartet game, Assembloids is a frantic reflex-based puzzle game in which you must assemble faces from four different sets as quickly as possible against an increasingly tight time limit.
Featuring open border design, high-score codes so you can keep a record of your achievements and full (comparable speed) PAL/NTSC compatibility, Assembloids requires no keyboard input and is designed to work on the C64GS as well as regular commodore computers. Visit RGCD for more information on the game, screenshots, videos and downloads.
C64anabalt is an official conversion of Adam Atomic & Danny B.'s award winning single-button 2009 indie game Canabalt for the 8-Bit, 64KB RAM, 1Mhz Commodore 64 home computer developed by Paul Koller (Paulko64). This particular version was designed to run from a 16KB cartridge (although there are also tape and disk versions available to download as well).
The game was developed as an entry for the RGCD C64 16KB Cartridge Game Development Competition (2011), and the name C64anabalt was suggested by Adam Atomic himself. The physics and procedural algorithms are based on those documented in the original game's open source code.
There are two versions of C64anabalt available; one with a SID chip conversion of Danny B.'s original score by Mikkel Hastrup (Encore), and an alternative build featuring music from the PC indie game ThrustBurst by Andreas Slotte (Ghormak). Unfortunately it wasn't possible to fit them both into a single 16KB ROM, so we've made two versions available to order (more on that in a bit) or downloa

Your mollusk isn't defenseless though - you have a reserve of ink at your disposal!
The fish stock of each ocean is rapidly depleting - much like in real life - so you'll have to move quick. The stock level r
Originally intended to be released in 1994 during the commercial decline of the Commodore 64, Bloodwheels was unreleased until 2011 when it was included in the 'Shoot 'Em Up Destruction Set 2' package by Psytronik.
In this game you control an armoured vehicle on a mission that takes you through an arid desert-scape, a war-torn town, over bridges, through an army base, through dense jungle and an evacuated city, and more. The game features some nicely detailed sprites, destructible scenery and can be played by one or two players. War has never been so much fun!
Manky is a single-screen platformer inspired by early 1980s games like Chuckie Egg and Manic Miner. The game follows Manky, who urgently needs the toilet, but it has been walled up. To reach it, he must collect keys and a set number of eggs laid by a roaming bird, while avoiding piles of grain that are fatal unless he eats an egg first. A timer adds pressure, and failure results in an unfortunate accident.
The game is a platformer with many action-adventure elements. The knight meets different moving (as snakes, dragons, birds, water drops) and rigid enemies (as gargoyles) and obstacles (as spears or moving pillars), that can be fought and destroyed. Some enemies spit e.g fire. Destroyed enemies leave behind coins which can be collected. The enemies can harm the knight, which at first costs energy and then leads to death. If rooms that have already been visited are reentered the enemies also reappear!
Furthermore there are door opener in the shape of flashing steles which open different doors in the castle and objects (e.g.in the shape of jugs), that contain energy, water or weapons and can be collected. At the beginning, the energy supply only consists of three energy points, but in the course of the game the energy supply can be raised. If the knight passes a rune stone, there is an important hint to be read.
Furthermore there is a map of the castle's labyrinth, which shows an overview of the rooms that you have
