    With a jolt you wake, reaching from your subconscious mind for a pencil and a clean sheet of paper from the desk. Fumbling about with your fingers, however, you find not stationery, but the icicle-covered sleeve of uncle's coast. Upon opening your eyes, the puzzle is solved. No longer are you in uncle's study at Koenigsberg University, taking notes and generally keeping busy helping uncle. You are now heading up a narrow track that winds on through gradually deepening woods and snow, on another one of uncle's “field trips”. This time researching a book on vampire bats and their connection with a strange race of humans. This is of course of little interest to you, being neither of a very adventurous nature or possession of a strange stomach. However, the strange wolf cries coming from the trees around you and the general air of expectancy does grip you in a frightening sort of way.     "Castle" is an adventure game in which you are exploring a mysterious castle and its surroundings and are trying to figure out what really had happened. Before you start, you need to select one out of four individuals you will be guiding through this adventure. You may choose between a fighter, a magician, a thief and a priest. Each of them has different characteristics' values like power, intelligence and skills. Walking around the place you may collect objects and interact with the scenery using set of command icons such as examine, pick up, put down, give, talk and attack. Movement is done using the direction icon in which you choose what direction you would like to take next. The game consists of 70 different locations to explore.

    Crossfire is a single screen 1st person perspective shooter where you are a policeman leading 'The Untouchables' against the mob lead by Al Capone and 'Legs' Diamond. You must visit nine locations and shoot all the bad guys that appear on the screen in various places, by controlling a cross-hair and shooting them. Civilian's also appear and these cannot be shot or you lose points at the end of each location. To complete a location you must stay alive while a timer counts down, and when it reaches zero then you move to the next location. As you shoot, the bad guys will shoot back after a short time and if you are hit then you lose one of four lives and the location starts again.

    It's time to go down your local alley and have a game of bowling. The game is viewed from behind your bowler at a slight elevated angle. Before you bowl you can move your bowler left or right to get the perfect position. There is an option to choose which angle to bowl by pressing the + or - key and also which hand you want by pressing R or L. To bowl the ball when you are happy, you move the joystick forward and press the fire button to release the ball. You can't release the ball while not running. Don't go forward too far or it's a foul. The usual scoring is worked out by the computer. Here's to scoring 300.
