Sonic Schoolhouse is a 1996 edutainment release from when Sonic was all the rage. Technically one could describe the gameplay as a first person shooter, except instead of shooting guns at soldiers of the undead players shoot letters and numbers at blackboards. The game covers both Math and Spelling and has adjustable difficulty ranging from kindergarten to 4th grade.

In addition to the main game, players can play one of two bonus games (a ring hunt and a memory game) and also go on field trips to learn about different animals. The field trips play out in live action vignettes.
