    Racing
Xbox Nintendo GameCube PC (Microsoft Windows) PlayStation 2
    star 7.7
The Need for Speed series returns, this time reverting back to the 'chase' arcade experience instead of a racing simulation. Top speed racing is the name of the game, where you must outchase not just the opposing drivers, but the cops. Choose from a selection of today's (and yesterday's) top sports cars, including the Ferrari F50, Porsche 911 and a range from the likes of Ford, Corvette, BMW, Lotus, Mercedes, Aston Martin, the McLaren F1 and a lot more. The competitive race mode allows you to take on other drivers and beat them to the line. A selection of tracks allows you to not only dodge incoming traffic, but perform deadly jumps and stunts to receive points. These points, combined with the points recieved from your finishing position, can unlock new cars and tracks. The Hot Pursuit mode combines all the major elements of the competitive mode with the chance to out run the cops. They will throw everything at you to try and stop you, including running you off the road, setting up road blocks and unleashing an

    PC (Microsoft Windows)
"Soccer Manager" is a sports simulation game where you choose your club, take on the role of trainer and manager and guide your team to fame and fortune. Buy and sell your players skilfully, train wisely, negotiate advertising contracts profitably, and select a winning team. In designing this game, we put particular emphasis on making it easy to play with an intuitive interface. For example, there is no calendar. Each change you make takes immediate effect. In real life, stadiums are not built in a day and transfers are not instant - but we feel this makes the game more enjoyable as you learn the skills to lead your club to success. Your activities in "Soccer Manager" are focused on the fundamental areas that have the greatest impact on your club. Your team is the most important thing, so we consciously dispensed with snack bars and fan shops. Accept the challenge and turn your favourite club into one of the leading teams in Europe.

    Game Boy Advance
Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper is a compressed version of the original game and lacks several stages and music tracks from the previous arcade and console versions, although all the characters are present. In addition, Eagle, Maki, and Yun, all of whom were characters from Capcom vs. SNK 2 were added to the game. Only a few character voices were included in this version due to storage limitations, which the developers worked around by having characters share voice samples, modified with real-time pitch shifting, such as using a higher pitched version of Ken's voice for Sakura's attack calls.

Though not nearly advanced as humans, two-legged robots are utilized in many practical areas throughout the world. Amid worldwide peace, the human race remains unchanged. Kazuki Tomonaga is a robot made by an entity called "HIKARI" for the purpose of "GLOBAL ILLUMINATION". He's created with ingenuity as precise as that of a human being. Kazuki is commanded to research the concepts of "human emotion". Along the way he meets various girls and has exchanges with them. In their "exchanges" his "curiosity" gradually turns into "affection" and his mission becomes more intense. He gradually starts to build his own philosophy, not knowing he will be forced to make crucially important decisions in the near future.

Online play originally was limited to only 4 players (2 over 56k), and chat functionality was not included.
