NBA IN THE ZONE ¿98 is a traditional five-on-five basketball game that follows the lead of its predecessors, NBA IN THE ZONE and NBA IN THE ZONE 2. In the original game, the emphasis was on an arcade look and feel. NBA IN THE ZONE '98 advances the series' evolution by leaning towards more of a basketball simulation. New options include an on-the-fly play-calling system as well as statistical tracking, which not only keeps season stats but also charts league leaders in various categories. You can also take on a friend in Versus mode and see who is really in the zone; with two multitaps, up to eight people can play at one time.
Choose from one of the 13 genuine tournament bowlers, with real lanes, real player animations, real lane conditions and changes, real bowling balls (genuine Brunswick!) each with its physical properties. All the tournament rules are available along six game modes (Exhibition, Skins —the Brunswick "Skins" game—, Tournament, Career, Practice, Cosmic). The playing character is picked from the Brunswick ProStaff or self-created by the player.
Super Family Gelände (aka Super Family Gerende) is a Japan-exclusive Skiing video game that was scheduled to sell as a Super Famicom game in 1995; however, it was sold instead as part of the Japanese Nintendo Power download game service, in 1998.
The game is the spiritual 2D ancestor to Namco’s We Ski, released in 2008. There are time trials and eight slopes available from all over Japan. The story begins with a fox (or rabbit if the player chooses the female character) wanting to become human so he/she can ski. During the story mode, the player has different tasks in each chapter.
Bass Fishing is an arcade fishing game where players attempt hook and reel in fish with different lures. Consisting of four stages at different times of the day, the player is expected to catch a certain weight of fish within a time limit before moving onto the next stage. The final stage allows only for one fish to be captured, but are among the largest in the game and most difficult to catch. Fish are measured under four weight classes: Small One, Average, Big One, and Huge.

And there's also a Practice mode, where you can perfect your skills. You can also bet against the computer or a friend in nearly all the modes. You can also take on a friend in the Versus mode, or play the Story mode that takes you into the life of a pool hustler, as you try to make a name for yourself and earn some cash. You travel from one pool hall to the next, playing for money and improving your game. POOL HUSTLER is a must for anyone who considers himself a student of the game of pool.
Super Live Stadium is a baseball game developed by Squaresoft in 1998. The game features a funny sense of humour (like when your character is out, etc), and some game modes like championship, and different vs modes (against another human player or against the computer), all of them with good graphics and different times of the day (day or night).
Pocket Tennis a simple tennis game with two play modes: Exhibition and Tournament.
Exhibition is a single match against computer or human opponent (requires link cable). There do exist eight player characters with different skills (human player must select one of those eight characters too) and four (five in the color version) different courts. Also amount of sets per game can be selected (1, 3 or 5).
Tournament is only against computer. Human player can pick his/her character but not the computer opponent. Also selection of courts and amount of sets is missing. Three games will be played: quarter and semifinals and of course the final.
Neo Geo Cup '98: The Road to the Victory is a soccer video game based on the FIFA World Cup 1998, despite being released after the 1998 FIFA World Cup. It features 73 teams countries. Each team enters a "Regional Qualifying Round Final" where it plays a team it actually played in the 1998 FIFA World Cup qualification. For example: Spain would face Yugoslavia, an opponent it actually faced in its qualifying group. Or Italy would face Russia, an opponent Italy faced in the UEFA play-offs. If the player wins the opponent, it goes to a group much like the real life World Cup. In fact, the team faces opponents that were actually in its group. For Example: Mexico would face the Netherlands, Belgium and South Korea. It is a re-make of Super Sidekicks 3. However, animations and designs were exactly the same. The only difference is teams to reflect the World Cup, Kits again to reflect the World Cup, and players to resemble squads from the World Cup (Teams that did not qualify use line-ups from friendly games and qualifiers)
